Can Rooftop Tent Be Used With Rapid Gutter Feet on 2018 Jeep Wrangler

Hi, Can I put a Yakima SkyriseRooftop tent on a 2018 Wrangler JLhardtop with Thule gutter mount towers? Thank you

Hi Joey; I'm sorry to say that rooftop tents like the Yakima SkyRise HD # Y07437 will not work with a gutter mount roof rack. The roof rack needs to be installed on raised side rails, flush side rails, or fixed mounting points. You will have to install a roof rack with tracks like the # Y02-490B or some other system if you want to use the tent.

Hey Joey, did you end up adding a roof rack with tracks for your Wrangler so you could use the Yakima SkyRise tent? Knowing what setup worked might help others trying to mount a rooftop tent on a hardtop.
