Hey Paula, so the 88 error code on Furrion fireplaces basically means it can't flow enough air and it's overheating. You need to check the vents on your fireplace and ensure they are clean. Inadequate airflow will cause the fireplace to throw an 88 code. It looks like maybe you have some dust accumulation. You may have to slide the unit out of the wall and make sure the vent located on the top of the containment box is not too close to anything that would limit airflow. Additionally, if you use this fireplace solely to heat up your trailer, it may also be causing the 88 code to trigger due to overheating from the fireplace working overtime.
Let me know if that helps.

Hey Paula, did cleaning the vents on your Furrion fireplace clear the 88 error code? It would be great to know if improving the airflow solved the overheating issue. Your update could help others facing the same problem.
