I have Lippert 5th wheel Pin Box identified by LCI Item Number 8080791 and S/N S003963775. Which Reese Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck adapter do I need? Thanks,

Hey Robert, so I checked with Lippert and what you have now is a Lippert 1621 so the Reese Goose Box part # RP85FR that you referenced is the correct Reese fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter. This has a 20k capacity and what you have now has a 15.5k capacity too so you are covered in that too. Do you have any other questions I can help with?

Hey Robert, how did the Reese Goose Box work out with your Lippert 1621 pin box? Your experience could point others in the right direction.

@JamesonC It worked out ok. Currently the trailer rides a little nose high. I would like for the Reese Goose box to be one set of holes higher in the trailer but, there’s a structural steel cross member that appears to be in conflict. Other than that, I like the way the Goose Box tows, there’s no lurching or transfer of road conditions from the trailer to truck like you experience with traditional fifth wheel hitches.
