Will Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Adapter Fit Hide-A-Goose Hitch in 2006 Ford F-250

I have the Draw-tite Hide-A-Goose hitch installed in my truck and am looking at buying a Demco 5th Wheel adapter Part Number: DM8550045 so that I can pull RVs. I like the extra clearance this thing gives me so that I can install a larger auxiliary fuel tank. But Im wondering if this ball will be too tall for the Demco adapter. Much appreciated!

Hi Sam; the ball height requirement for the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel # DM8550045 is 5" from the top of the bed to the top of the ball. With your standard Hide-A-Goose hitch ball this won't be a problem. If you have the high rise ball it might be too tall. I recommend grabbing a quick measurement just to be sure.

Thank you for the quick reply! But my question was in reference to this gooseneck 5" offset ball (part number: 19308) for Draw-tite Hide-a-goose. Sorry, I assumed that, since I clicked the question query on that product page, it would automatically register that that was the product I was inquiring about. So my full question is this: will the 5" offset ball be too tall for the Demco adapter? Thank you again!
