Does It Matter Which Side of the Fuse Holder Gets Run to the Battery and Which Side to the Jack
Published 06/04/2014 >
Question:
I have watched your video 10 times and read your comment to the other poster regarding the Fuse Holder. Our fuse holder on the black box has the red wires coming from the black box that says LINE and LOAD. Which side goes to the positive end of the battery? Which side goes to the black wire of the jack? I did google a little bit and would I be right to say that the battery would go to the LINE side? And the jack would go to the LOAD side?

It doesn't matter which end of the fuse holder gets used for going to the battery and which goes to the jack. Fuses don't require current to flow through them in a certain direction so either way is fine. But typically line is the side that the power comes in on and load is the power going out.
I attached a wiring diagram for the jack for you to check out also.
