Green light not on when connected to trailer

Hi Howard,
Typically if the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller # 39510 isn't detecting the trailer it's just an issue with the trailer connectors not making a solid connection. Check the pins on your trailer connector to see if they're corroded, damaged, bent, or dirty. A lot of the time the pins get bent back from connecting to the 7-way socket on the vehicle over and over and just need to be bent back into place with a thin flathead screwdriver so that they contact the pins in the socket again. Next you can check if the brake controller has a good ground and is getting a full 12 volts to properly function.
If the issue persists let me know and we can dive a bit deeper into the troubleshooting.
