Has Hopkins Wiring Harness Been Lengthened to Reach Passenger Side Mounting Bracket

Question:
I read through all the reviews, and understand these connectors need to plug into the drivers side connectors after unplugging the factory passenger side extension wiring. However it sounds like the bracket is designed for a passenger side install to use the factory mounting location. Has your wiring harness since been lengthened to reach to the passenger side factory bracket mounting location?

Hi Chad; Hopkins has not lengthened the wires on their wiring harness # HM11143910. Knowing Hopkins I'm sure the thought is that you can drill holes to mount their bracket somewhere on the driver side. That or perhaps they originally intended to connect to the passenger side connectors and found it only works with the driver side. Either way they have left this as is without extending the wire. The only way you're going to get it to the factory mounting holes is to use some butt connectors and splice in extra wire to extend it.

Hey Chad, how did things go with the Hopkins wiring harness on your setup? Were you able to extend the wires to reach the passenger side bracket or find a good spot to mount it on the driver side? Your update could make it easier for others working with the same harness.
