Question:
I have a 2008 Winnebago with an A and E awning. I was wondering there is a way to convert from the current manual awning to a motorized version. Im having trouble looking up a lot for this project and hoping you could help. Thanks.

Hey Steve, unfortunately we do not have a way to convert an A&E awning from manual to powered. The only conversion kits we have are for some Dometic and Carefree, but not A&E. The best I can offer is a new awning altogether, depending on the distance from center to center of your arms. For example if you had (or were able to mount) awning arms that measure 16' center to center you could use the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning # LC517486 with two of the Awning Rails # LC715217.
I've added a link below to our entire selection of awnings which you can filter through by size.

Hey Steve, did you end up trying the Solera Smart Arm power awning for your Winnebago? Knowing how that option worked out could help others looking to upgrade from a manual A&E setup. Your experience might point them toward the right solution.
