Question:
I have a Reese 69220 20K Sidewinder with a Reese 68202 Wedge that hitches to a Curt A16 16120 body and head assembly. Is there a modified lube plate that can be used with this arrangement?

Hi Bob,
I checked with Reese, and a lube plate should not be used with the Sidewinder # RP34FR (which is the same as 69220). In fact, they specify "Do not use a lube plate as it will affect the wedge fit and could cause 5th wheel head damage." Instead, you'll just use grease like # L11315 and lubricate the wedge screw, pivot shaft, and king pin, like is shown on page 13 of the linked instructions.
