Question:
I have the Curt 7 pin harness In my cart for my 2019 ranger, but am having a problem locating the correct plug in adapter to install my tekonsha brake controller on that same 2019 ranger. Please advise on the part number required for plug and play connection? Thanks

Hello Dan, thanks for getting in touch. Tekonsha does not make a plug in adapter for the 2019 Ford Ranger. Our records indicate the 2019 Ranger will have the 4 brake control wires already run, but there is no OEM plug, it will have 4 loose wires with heat shrink tubing on the ends. The wires will be located on the driver side firewall to the left of the brake pedal. To install the controller you can wire it in using the included universal pigtail. For example, the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 comes with a universal pigtail you can use.

Hey Dan, how did things go wiring in your Tekonsha brake controller on your Ranger using the universal pigtail? Your update could make it easier for others trying to connect their controllers without a factory plug.
