Where Does 4-Way of 2020 Mazda 3 Get Stored When Not In Use

Question:
How do you route the 4 pole trailer connector out of the car for 2020 Mazda 3 hatchback? I did not see this mentioned in the instructions.

Hey Eric, when the Tekonsha 4-way par # 118808 isn't in use it would get stored in the rear trunk area and then when you'd need to use it you'd pull it out and close the trunk on it. Just make sure it doesn't get caught in the latch and it will be fine as it would get pressed against the soft weather stripping.

Hey Eric, how did things go with routing the 4-way connector on your Mazda 3 hatchback? Did storing it in the trunk and pulling it out when needed work smoothly for you? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up the same wiring.
