Hello Jeff, thanks for reaching out. It really depends on your skill level, but the Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve # E1003VP should take about an hour to install. It really depends on how easy it is to wire the switch which is totally specific to your trailer. For most trailers an hour is a solid estimate.
Some ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303 will be needed to complete your installation.
