Can Progressive Dynamics Charger be Used with Lithium Battery

Question:
This is a follow-up to my question to Johnathon C. My concern is whether there is any problem between the tow vehicle alternator and AGM battery and the Lithium battery and charge system on the trailer when the two vehicles are connected.

Hey Theo, as long as the charger on your trailer has a lithium charge profile like the Progressive Dynamics converter part # PD4135K that you referenced it will be able handle the input voltage from the panel and alternator and convert it to the higher voltage needed to charge the battery.
