I checked the installation instructions for the Reese Dual Cam Weight Distribution system and the instructions state that you should NOT use grease on the cams or am arm. If you are having issues with noise a very light coating of a lubricant can be used on the part of the cam where the spring bar rides the cam.
The only mention of a lubricant is that you can use it on the adjustment nut and cam arm so that the adjustment nut can be moved freely to the desired position.
