Availability of Hitch for 2000 Lexus GS 300

Question:
I’m wanting to purchase a trailer hitch for my 2000 GS300. I saw on a forum you guys made one PN: 11238 but can’t find it. On eBay there’s one listed that’s for the later model GS300 PN: 11372 and says it fits the GS300 all years but I doubt it. Is the one for my year still available?

Hello Charles; the hitch you're referring to is the Curt 11238. This hitch was discontinued and is no longer available. I would try searching it with "Curt" attached to see if you can still find it in stock anywhere. If not, the only option would be to take the # E17 to a local fabricator and have them fashion a custom hitch for you.

Hey Charles, were you able to track down the Curt 11238 hitch or go the custom route with a fabricator? Knowing what worked could help others trying to fit a hitch on an older GS300.
