Question:

I have a 2019 Ford Explorer 4 wheel drive with the towing package that I use to tow a 4000 pound travel trailer. I use an Eaz-lift R3 weight distribution hitch with 800 lb. bars but I get more bounce on rough roads than I like and the overall sag of the car is more than I like. Would the Tindren SES jounce bags help? I assume Id have to re-adjust the load distribution system.

Clyde, using Timbrens like the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFRFLX will definitely help reduce rear sag. These springs have 3,000 lbs of load leveling capacity, increases stability, and includes custom-fit brackets and hardware.

If you still have sag after adding the Timbrens, then you need to adjust the head on your weight distribution system so that more weight is redistributed to the front.

Hey Clyde, how did things turn out after adding the Timbren rear suspension system to your Explorer? Did it help cut down the bounce and sag when towing your trailer? Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same issue.
