Can Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack with 1-1/4" Shank Be Used for 4-Bike Rack

The Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # Y02445 isn't compatible with the 2-Bike Add-On because is has the 1-1/4" shank that isn't strong enough for a 4-bik setup.

Yakima discontinued the HoldUp line of bike racks so the only way for you to use the Add-On is if you swap out the spine with the Replacement Spine # 8890277 so it fits with a 2" hitch that's more capable.

@Ray The tongue will work with the trays for the Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # Y02445 so it's all that's needed.
