Updated 09/06/2024 | Published 09/01/2024

Question:

Greetings, Im looking to flat tow my 2004 Wrangler TJ, lifted on 38s, with a front Warn bumper. I need help finding an economical solution. I cant figure out which tow bar/base plate would be compatible with my Warn winch bumper. Nor which tow bar would be compatible with my Warn D-rings. Ive been looking for a compatible solution for weeks and still havent found a good solution. Can you help, please?

Hello Walter, thanks for reaching out. If your Warn bumper has D-rings, we do offer tow bar setups that can attach to the D-rings on your bumper. You will need to use a D-ring adapter to connect the tow bar. We offer the D-ring adapters in the following sizes:

1" Thick D-Rings # RM-035-1
3/4" Thick D-Rings # RM-035

These adapters will work with the Roadmaster motor-home-mounted tow bars. For that I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522. This is a very solid non-binding tow bar rated for 6,000 lbs.

As with any aftermarket front bumper, please confirm with the manufacturer that your specific bumper is flat tow rated.
