Does the Curt Hitch C68DR Require Cutting to Install on a 2024 Honda HR-V?

Does installation of this hitch on a 2024 HRV require cutting the rear valance so the receiver will fit?

Yes, it does David. The Curt Hitch item # C68DR does require trimming a 2-1/4" x 2" portion of the bottom fascia. This is so the 1-1/4" receiver has a place to protrude. The cuts needed are underneath your HR-V though, so it's not something that anyone is ever going to see unless they lie down beneath your car.
The Curt Hitch item # C68DR is custom fit for the 2024 Honda HR-V and bolts to it with included hardware. This is a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver.
