Can Fogatti InstaCool 150 II RV Air Conditioner System Run Furnace From Dometic AC System

Question:
My original Dometic rooftop ac control would control my furness. Can the instacool 150 controler control my furness? Or do I need to have a separate thermostat? The controller has a place for the heater is this connection for a heat strip. And is this an ac or dc output on P2 and P5of the control card?

Hey Phillip, thanks for reaching out!
The Fogatti InstaCool 150 II RV Air Conditioner System # FG69FR does not have provisions for heating so it wouldn't be able to control your furnace.
This AC unit runs off of AC power. I'm not sure what the function of the P2 and P5 pins are (see attached diagram) but this system won't change AC power to DC power so hopefully that answers your question.

Hey Phillip, were you able to sort out how to handle the furnace control with your setup after learning the InstaCool 150 II doesn’t support heating? Knowing what solution you used could help others trying to connect a similar system.
