Can 20 Amp Circuit Breaker be Used with Tekonsha RF Brake Controller
Question:
Prodigy RF Brake Controller - On the Seven Way connector does the Electric Brake terminal need to be powered with a 20 amp circuit if I have the Battery Charge terminal powered on a 20 amp circuit...i.e. do both Electric Brake and Battery Charge terminals need to be powered on separate 20 amp circuits? Thanks for your help!

Hey Fletcher, a 20 amp breaker on the 12 volt circuit can work with the Tekonsha RF brake controller part # TK94FR unless your trailer has 3 brake axles as then you'd need to bump up to a 30 amp breaker for that circuit.
There wouldn't be a way to run a separate breaker for this brake controller and 12 volt accessory circuit since they use same circuit.
