Hello Sam. I recommend replacing your Dometic AC unit with an Advent AC unit. The Advent units are made to be directly compatible with Dometic AC systems which makes installation simple. All of the ducts, ceiling registers and thermostat in your camper will stay in place and work the same. Here is what I recommend:
- Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup - Start Capacitor - 13,500 Btu - White # ASA99YR

Hey Sam, how did the replacement go with the Advent AC unit on your Tradewinds? It sounds like it should have been a smooth swap with your existing Dometic setup. Your update could make it easier for others working on the same upgrade.
