Are All RV Replacement Roof Vents Made to Fit Same Size

Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 07/03/2024

Question:

Hello. I have an arctic fox 2003 22bh and the vent lid in the bathroom has a crack in it. Looking at your page, none of the lids look the same. If I went with a complete fan, vent, lid assembly to replace it, do you know which one I would need. Are they all the same dimensions? Is there a better lid than the white colored ones that seem to break often? Any info is appreciated.

Hey Duane, the great thing about RV roof vents is that they all are designed to fit the same 14 inch square roof opening so anything we offer is going to fit great in place of what you have. For a manual lift lid option with ah higher powered fan the Dometic part # FV802250 that you referenced would work really well. The translucent lid will last a long time too. It does seem like the white lids do break quicker too.

Hey Duane, how did the new Dometic vent and translucent lid work out on your Arctic Fox? It’d be great to know if the fit and durability met your expectations. Your update could make it easier for others replacing older vent lids.
