TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs for a 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty Short Bed with Factory Hitch

Updated 10/12/2024 | Published 06/20/2024

Question:

Hi, I have a 2017 F-250 SD 6-3/4 bed and am looking at the torklift tie downs. Can you elaborate on the description: - with board or step underneath truck bed and with a factory installed hitch Camper Tie-Downs and the - without...? I have a factory installed hitch with fixed running boards. Thank you

Hey Isaac, thanks for reaching out!

The information you provided is enough so you'll need the following TorkLift Tie-Downs:

- Front # TLF2022A
- Rear # TLF3008A

These will fit as long as your steps/boards don't extend past the cab. TorkLift has some fit criteria for their kits so we try to incorporate that into our fit listings as well.

Hi Jon G, thank you. Are these two parts (- Front # TLF2022A, - Rear # TLF3008A) the same as this combo of parts (Item # TL34VV)? Isaac

@IsaacT The Custom Fit Tie Down Kit # TL34VV will fit the same - the only different between them is the kit I referenced is aluminum whereas this kit you're looking at is steel.

@JonG I watched an eTrailer install video and wanted to re-confirm a detail in your first reply. "It just so happens that the same parts fit whether the steps/running boards are under the truck bed or just under the cab..." So, I have a crew cab and the steps/running boards do extend past the cab and underneath the truck bed. I'm confirming that the - Front # TLF2022A - Rear # TLF3008A OR the TL34VV steel will fit my truck and the steps/running boards will not get in the way? Thanks, Isaac

@Isaac I'm not sure what I initially saw that made me say these would fit with steps/boards that extend past the cab, but looking at the installation photos we have it looks like the front tie-downs fit right behind the cab so they won't work for your application. I apologize for that, and I'll be updating my initial response to be accurate.
