Brake Controller For Pulling Electric Brake Trailer With An Air Brake Equipped Peterbilt Semi

Question:
good afternoon. i am looking to for a electric brake controller i can use on a 2019 peterbilt 389. we have a trailer needing to be picked up with eletric brakes and need to use this truck with air brakes to pick it up. is there any products you have that can used for this? if so is there a wiring schematic on how to wire it in aswell? thank you.

Hello Adam, thanks for reaching out. Your best option for this is the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C. This will allow you to tow an electric brake camper with an air brake equipped semi like your Peterbilt. I have included a diagram for you below. You will also find the manufacturer instruction manual, as well as an install video linked below.
