Will the Rightline Gear Saddlebag Fit a 2011 Jeep Compass with Rear Spoiler

Question:

I know that some of the photos show this installed on a small CUV with a rear spoiler. I have a 2011 Jeep Compass and was wondering if this product would fit my vehicle with the rear saddlebag. I do not have a hitch so no possibility for hitch mounted storage and I like this product over rooftop carriers due to the affect on my gas mileage. My initial thought would be that it would be okay since the back of my hatch sticks out significantly farther than what the spoiler does but was wanted an experts opinion.

According to Rightline when we have received this question before, their Cargo Hatch bag, # RL100B90 can be used on vehicles with a small spoiler that is integrated into the vehicle. The bag comes ready to attach the upper straps to a roof rack or side rails (rails need to have a gap between the bottoms of them and the roof). Without a roof rack or side rails you would need to use clips # RL100605.
