What Does a Solid Red Light Mean on the Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System?

Question:
What does a solid red light mean on a Brake Buddy Stealth? I assume a problem with the unit? Is there a way to reset it? Ive pulled the fuse and replaced it. Do you sell just the unit that goes in the toad? Ive already bought the RV controller and umbilical cable from you.

A solid red light just shows what mode you're in on the Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System item # HM39530. It's not an error indicator. If there was an issue the light would be flashing green or you would see an error code. That's why you can't get it to turn off.
Sorry we do not sell just the unit that goes inside the towed vehicle.

Hey, did the solid red light on your Brake Buddy Stealth make more sense after learning it just shows the mode? Knowing how that worked out could help others who see the same light and think it’s an error.
