What is The Distance Required To Fold Up The Thule Helium 2 Bike Rack Behind a 2013 Honda Fit?

Looking for a platform rack for my ancient 1970!!! 3-speed Dutch-style bike. Will this rack fit my 2013 Honda Fit including when folded up? What is weight of rack? TY

To start Paula, the Thule Helium Bike Rack # TH44VR weighs just 43lbs and is capable of supporting 2 bikes up to 37.5lbs each. As for the fitment on your 2013 Honda Fit you will need to take the measurements from your hitch pin center hole. With this rack in the folded up position it is 5" from the closest part of the rack to the center of the hitch pin hole. As long as no part of your rear bumper/fascia is closer than this you will be able to use it folded up or down.

Sorry, Bud. Undersink bigtime leak took away two days. Almost done with that. I don't have a hitch yet on my Fit. (No Fit comes woith one and a couple local places i checked won't put one on, since Honda says no towing. Wehn i tewll them it's only for a bike rack, they still won't do. So i have to find a hitch dealer who will do. TY
