Does Emergency Brake Cable Bracket Need Removed To Install 5TH Wheel Rails on 2018 Silverado 1500?

Question:
I am installing Reese 50064-58 fifth wheel brackets on a 2018 silverado 1500 6.5ft bed. Can you please confirm if I am to remove the e brake bracket on the drivers side? And what do i then do with the e brake cables. The e brake bracket bolt head doesnt allow the trailer bracket to get close enough to the frame for the spacer bars to take up the space. Please advise. I do not see in the installation instructions for the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Kit # RP50064-58 any mention of having to remove an emergency/parking brake cable bracket for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500. The only note I see refers to a bracket for the electrical connection for trailer brakes going to the 7-way. If you are having difficulties with some part and the 5th wheel brackets please send me an image of this so I can better understand your exact issue.
