Food Truck Rated RV Air Conditioner

Question:
Hello, the description says that this unit is not suitable for a food truck. Can I get the details about that. why wouldnt it work for a food truck? I am doing a build from scratch, and I can install a remote thermostat if that is the reason, also the roof of the truck is corrugated so I would have to find a way to adapt the unit with some sort of spacer. other than that, is there something that can prevent me to use it on a food truck?

It's a warranty issue. You can install the Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner item # ADV79FR, on your food truck, but you will void your manufacturer warranty since ASA will only honor warranties if the units are installed on a camper or motorhome.
If you still want a warranty to cover the any manufacturer defects, I recommend using the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR92PR in white or item # FR32PR in black. These units are also going to be more efficient than the item # ADV79FR, which will save you money on fuel for your generator. This style has the controls up on the air distribution box so that you don't have to run a wire for a wall thermostat and take up space in your food truck.
