Hi Steve,

Thanks for that info and it sounds like you have Thule square crossbars, as those are the same 1-1/4" width you mentioned. You can certainly mount an awning to your crossbars, it just depends on what your crossbar spread is, and how large of an awning you want.

I'll go ahead and list out the options for you by size, and tell you what minimum crossbar spread is needed (if you aren't sure what spread you have, just measure the distance between the crossbars to get that distance).
