is the video you have available for installing rp50064-58 on 2013 Silverado apply to installing on 2014 Silverado? and typically how long would installation take for a fairly mechanical person.

Reese custom installation kit # RP50064-58 will fit your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 and install pretty much the same way as on the 2013 models. This kit is confirmed to fit the 2014 short bed and long bed models.
The estimated professional installation time is 3 hours. For a person working at home who has not installed a kit before you are looking at 4 to 6 hours. Having a friend or two to help can shorten the time. I have linked instructions for you.
