Question:
I have a Jayco 2020 310RLTS 5th wheel with 2 greys, 1 black and 1 fresh holding tanks. I want to change to the externally mounted sensors. I was told all I have to do was cut the existing wires from the old sensors leading into the tanks, use them for the new sensors that would be mounted on the outside of the tanks, is that correct? Will the new sensors using the existing wiring from the removed internal sensors work with my existing BMPRO panel that worked with the original internally mounted sensors installed at the factory? Thank you

You are going to need a different monitoring panel for the SeeLeveL sensors since your current probe style sensors like the # T21301VP are only going to show open and close readings since each tank will have multiple sensors. You will want to use the Monitor # SE57VR since you have 2 grey tanks. I have included a list of the different height sensors we offer that are compatible with this monitor.
9" Sensor # SE88VR
12" Sensor # SE78VR
16" Sensor # SE27VR

Bud, so you’re saying I can not use the existing wires now that are connected to my BMPRO to add the new Sealevel sensor and cut the wires from the internal sensors and use them? Or only partly, please explain, thanks
