Question:
RP87FR. 2017 gmc 3500hd with 6.5foot box. If I install this kit will it use the gm factory puck placement or will it be the same as the Ford puck system? Im looking to remove my bandw gooseneck hitch to install the Reese under bed puck system so I can install the demco slider with either the ford or gm puck system side brackets and still retain my gooseneck. Is this possible?

Hey Ryan; thanks for the question and it is indeed possible, you'll just need a different Elite gooseneck part number than the one you referenced. You'll need the Elite gooseneck that fits your 2017 GMC Sierra 3500, and the Demco Autoslide that fits the Ford puck system. So here is exactly what you'll need:
- Elite Series Underbed Gooseneck # RP30158-68
- Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Ford Super Duty Prep Package - 18k # DM8550024 or 21K # DM8550038
It's kind of goofy and I'm not sure why they did it this way but the Elite Series goosenecks use the same spacing as only the Ford pucksy, which is why you need the Autoslide for Fords instead of GMs.
