Question:

I have a 2018 Nissan NV200. I want to wire it for a trailer, but the plug in the rear behind the panels is obstructed by a build-out. Is there any way to connect to the wiring in the front cab and run the wires through the van to the rear?

The only solution we have for installing a trailer wiring 4-way on your 2018 Nissan NV200 is going to be with the part # 118597 which installs by plugging inline with the vehicle taillight connectors. Or you could hardwire in a kit like the # C59236 if you wanted to wire directly to the wires instead of mess with connectors.

Would I be able to use C59236 on just one of the taillights or will I need access to both? I noticed that the plug-in harness needs access to both sides, so I wanted to see if that is the case even if I hardwire it.

@Jeffrey The # C59236 is a hardwire type kit and does need to be wired to both sides of the vehicle if you want it to be fully functional. If you only have it ran to one side only one side of the turn signals would be functional.
