I have a 12 kayak that I want to use. I need a rack with the over bars for staping to. I have a 2017 rdx, and I also need a heavy duty trailer hitch. My car has no roof rack now.

For your 2017 Acura RDX that has a naked roof the roof rack I would recommend is the Rhino Rack part # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, # DK337 as it's a nicer rack that doesn't have quite as high of a price tag as other options. Then for a kayak carrier the etrailer part # e98878 would work really well.
Then for a hitch our highest capacity option that is mostly hidden the etrailer hitch part # e24AR would work really well.
