Is Gen-Y Gooseneck Coupler Arms in Upright Position Normal

Question:

I bought a gooseneck horse trailer with this hitch on it ,the arms are up not down like the pictures of hitch in your addertisement shows wonder if could adjust this some way

Gen-Y has 2 versions of their Pegasus gooseneck coupler and it looks like you have the low profile 5" offset version which has the torsion arms in the upright position instead of facing downwards.

Although it looks like it won't work as well with the arms facing downwards, your coupler is perfectly safe to use and was designed like that on purpose. I confirmed all of this with my contact at Gen-Y.
