Question:
I have a 2019 GMC Denali 3500 HD, 6.5 truck bed. Trying to fit a 5th wheeler hitch. Do I need a slider hitch with a 6.5 bed?

With a 6.5' bed you'll have a decent turn radius but will still most likely not be able to make a 90 degree turn, which could lead to the trailer accidentally making contact with the cab of the truck. Because of this I recommend going with a sliding 5th wheel hitch like the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034. This hitch will automatically slide back up to 14" as you turn to provide extra turning clearance without you having to get out of the truck. To mount it in the bed of your Sierra you'll need the base rail kit # DM8552011-71 as well.
