Is SmartPlug RV TV/Internet Inlet Weatherproof

Question:
Hello, I ordered this part in order to adapt my Starlink. I am a bit concerned about the Ethernet connector being exposed to the elements. I noticed that there is something made by SmartPlug but I cant find it at any retailer site. I attached a photo for your reference. Smartplug tells me they have something coming out next year, but I dont know whether it is water proof or weather resistant. Do you have any feedback about wet weather performance or can you recommend some way the part I have can be adapted? Best regards,

The picture you sent in is the SmartPlug RV TV/Internet Inlet # SM98FR we just have it as a different part number. Based how this is designed it would take quite a bit of rain or moisture to get into the recessed connectors of this. We've sold quite a few of these and haven't had any issues so I would not anticipate it being an issue for you. We have no idea what SmartPlug might be coming out with either.
