Troubleshooting Light On Greystone Model 2609E No Longer Working

Question:

I have a graystone 26 inch mod #2609E. Everything works fine except the lights do not light. The motor that turns the tin foil roller works, but the lights will not light. What is the problem and can it be fixed? Thanks.

Your Greystone model 2609 fireplace does use a traditional bulb which creates the flame. It could be as simple as the bulb has burnt out and needs replaced. If the bulb is not the issue you or whomever you have service the fireplace would need to test for power going into the bulb and check for any wire damage which may have caused a short.

If the circuit board is damaged you will have to look into replacing the fireplace with another fireplace like the 26" # 324-000068. This fireplace does upgrade to LED flame lights so you will not have to worry about a more fragile bulb burning out.
