Brake Controller Recommendation to Replace Curt Triflex

Question:
IVE HAD 3 CURT TRI FLEX BRAKE CONTROLLERS BURN OUT ON ME IN THE PAST YEAR. IM TOWING A 2 AXLE ENCLOSED TRAILER WITH A CHEVY EXPRESS 3500. WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS?

Curt brake controllers just aren't as reliable as other controllers. Especially the Triflex. I am a little shocked three of them have gone out so quickly but considering what we know about the Triflex it's not that surprising. I would recommend going with a much more reliable controller like the P3 part # 90195.
