Question:

Which wires do you hook up? I have two wires that come off each signal one black and one green with a stripe. Then there are several wires that come from the tail lights. Which one of those should I use? Thanks.

Your vehicle requires a converter to convert the trucks 5-Wire system down to the 4-Wire system used on trailers. You will find a connection point behind the rear bumper on the passenger side frame rail, that you will use to plug in the Plug-N-Tow (TM) Wiring Harness, item # 33515. This wiring harness has a converter installed and plugs inline with the original factory connectors.

If you want to hard wire your trailer connection then you could use the Upgraded Circuit Protected Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit with 4 Pole End (Includes Testers), item # 119178KIT, to wire your vehicle. This would require using the included circuit tester to probe the wiring at the rear of the vehicle and find the proper wires to connect to the right turn, left turn, brake and taillight wires on the vehicle side of the converter. YOu would then attach the ground wire to a suitable ground on the vehicle frame.
