Question:
I have a park model trailer basically a RV but with no self contained option and no 12v power. The rooftop AC went out. What air conditioning unit do you recommend for a non 12V option? I bought a Furrion Chill HE /FR65PV but have been unable to get it to work. It keeps giving an E3 code.

An E3 error code is a communication error between the thermostat and controller. The controller requires that you run 12v power to it for the thermostat to function properly so without it the system isn't going to work. The air conditioners that we offer are all going to require both 110VAC as well as 12VDC in order to operate so the only solution would be to swap out your power center for one like the Progressive Dynamics # PD4045KA.
This style power center is an AC and DC distribution panel with a built in converter that can power the DC distribution board without a battery. This would allow you to run a 12v line up to the AC so that it can properly operate. There are larger options as well if you need more circuit breaker space as well so just let me know what you currently have and we can find a solution from there.
