The Dometic 311 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM67FR requires a 10" rough-in, whereas the Dometic 300 # DOM64FR only requires an 8-1/2" rough-in. The rough-in measurement is from the wall behind the toilet to the center of the drain. Since your toilet is still in place you can measure from the wall to the flange bolts to ensure that there's enough space for the 311 to fit in place of the 300. You'll also want to note where the water inlet is on your current toilet versus the 311 which has it on the right side. I've replaced a few toilets and had to get an extension hose because older models had the inlet on the left side.
