How Does Solar Panel Controller Connect to Battery Bank that's in Parallel
Published 08/03/2023 >
Question:
I bought a solar panel and controller from you. I have 3 each 12v 100ah batteries wired in parallel. Where do I put the wires from the solar controller on the batteries? I mean do they both go on the first or last battery? Do I put the positive charging wire on the positive terminal on the last battery and the negative on the first? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Basically you would want to wire the solar panel controller the same way as the battery bank is wired (in parallel). So on the main power and ground wires that run to the rest of the RV for power. This will make sure the bank is charged evenly.
