Roof Rack And Kayak Carrier Recommendation For 2012 Kia Rio 5 Door Hatchback

Question:
I ideally want a rack for a lightweight kayak of 21 kilos. the vehicle is a 2012 Kia Rio 5 door Hatch. Currently using soft racks which are ok . We place the Kayak upside down and use the tie downs attached to the Rack. Do the racks above have a place to attach Tie downs as that would work well with this Kayak or is there a simple Kayak carrier which clips onto the Rack? And does this have a tie down system .I have good quality tie downs already, After looking thru your Site. I think I have narrowed down to the Rola rack 59712 mated up with the rola watercraft Roof sling 59877 to hold a light weight Kayak of 21 kg in the upside down position . Can you confirm that that is all I will need and if not could you suggest what other items might be necessary, regards

If your 2012 Kia Rio 5 door hatchback has no side rails or roof rack system installed, the Rola Sport Series Roof Rack, part # 59712 would be a fit for you. This system has T-slots in the elliptical crossbars that allow you to attach various accessories. This roof rack does not have designated tie-down locations.
For your kayak, the Malone Deluxe Kayak Carrier, # MPG152, will work well with the roof rack you referenced. This system includes a strap that will secure the kayak to the vehicle, and 2 extra long ropes that anchor the kayak bow and stern to the Rio.
