Question:

Im looking at the yakima platform 4 bike hold up bike rack for around $900, but I need it to fit the 1.25 inch hitch mount? Does Yakima sell this product for this size hitch?

The Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # Y02443-2 is far too heavy to be used in a 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver. Yakima offers the Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # Y02458, which can fit in a 1-1/4" receiver tube and has a 40lb per bike capacity.

If you want to stick with the # Y02443-2 then you would need to upgrade the trailer hitch. If you have a factory trailer hitch then the receiver tube can be replaced with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C57JR. If you had the 1-1/4" installed aftermarket then you'll need to replace it with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C47JR. Both of these hitches would give you a 2" receiver, allowing you to haul the # Y02443-2.
