There are a couple of potential issues causing there to be no power at your 7-way trailer receptacle. The first and most easy place to check would be for a blown fuse. You'll want to consult your owner's manual for your fuse layout to find the trailer towing fuse and check to make sure it is not blown.
If it is, then you'll want to replace the fuse and you'll be good to carry on the way you were. If your fuse is fine, then there's a power supply issue.
You'll want to use a multimeter # PT29ZR to find out where the power dropout is. If you're getting power to the receptacle but not out the plug then you just have a bad receptacle and would just need to swap it out with # 20135.
If you're not getting any power at all to your 7-way then your issue is with your vehicle and you're going to need to trace down where the power stops being transmitted. Once located, you can just cut and replace the section or sections of damaged wire and check again.
If you've already done this and you're still stumped feel free to come back and we'll see what else we can try.
