For your 2020 BMW X3M with the dual exhaust you will need the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH45VR. The etrailer Receiver # e46KR you found will not fit your X3M. The Stealth Hitches includes the wiring for a 7-way connector along with a adapter for a 4-way flat. Best of all when not towing or carrying hitch mounted accessories you can remove any visible part of the receiver maintaining your clean factory appearance.

I recommend getting the Carrying Case # 391CASEC to store the receiver, ball mount and 7-way to 4-way adapter when not in use. This will keep everything in one case and protect them from scratching on each other.
