Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch For A 2020 Ford F-250 With Puck System And Turning Point Pin Box

Question:

I am getting a 2020 Ford F250 6.75 ft bed with 5th wheel prep puck system. I have a 2022 Grand Design 295RL which has a Trail Air turning point kingpin. I need a static hitch, not a slider, and possibly a wedge for the kingpin. Your site only offers sliders when I put in that truck. Do you have a suggestion for a 5th wheel hitch I can get for this setup?

For a 2020 Ford F-250 with the in-bed puck system I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package # BWRVK3300. This hitch has a 20,000lb capacity and feet that are designed to drop right into the puck system in the bed of your F-250. The head is detachable from the base to make installation and removal light enough that you won't need to have an extra person to lug the hitch back and forth from the truck.

This hitch paired along with your Turning Point pin box will provide you with plenty of clearance to make 90 degree turns. You will need to use a wedge to lock the king pin into the jaws of the hitch so that the only pivoting point is the turret of the pin box (where the pin box connects to the trailer). If you don't have the universal wedge on your pin box then you can replace it with part # LC79UD.
